Why Life Insurance?

Life Insurance is one of the most important investments you can make. It’s an investment in yourself and the future of your loved ones, and it’s a way to secure your financial responsibilities to your family.

Your Life Insurance policy can be used to pay off debts and estate taxes, provide money for continuing mortgage payments, and keep your business up and running upon your passing. But most important, it can be used to ensure that your family’s dreams for the future become realities.

Protect what matters most in your life with a policy from Prince Insurance Group.

Prince Insurance Group provides quality Life Insurance solutions for clients near Wheat Ridge, Denver, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, and Broomfield.

As your personal situations change (i.e., marriage, birth of a child or job promotion), so will your life insurance needs. Care should be taken to ensure this product is suitable for your long-term life insurance needs. You should weigh any associated costs before making a purchase. Life insurance has fees and charges associated with it that include costs of insurance that vary with such characteristics of the insured as gender, health and age, and has additional charges for riders that customize a policy to fit your individual needs.

Common questions about Life Insurance

Get quick answers to some of the most asked questions about life insurance. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

Is life insurance something I need?

If you have dependents that you financially support (for instance, elderly parents, children, or a spouse), then life insurance is something you will probably qualify for. If you make contributions to the household by way of childcare, cooking, or cleaning, then a policy may account for some of the expenses that come with labor replacement. Further, if there is a debt that somebody else is assuming (such as a student loan or mortgage), then it would be prudent to consider getting life insurance.

What sort of things are covered by life insurance?

Several common expenses can be covered by life insurance, including the following:

  • Estate taxes your heirs need to pay for various assets.
  • Loans granted by family members.
  • Burial expenses.
  • In-house labor expenses (cleaning, cooking, etc.).
  • Family living expenses.
  • Children’s college expenses.
  • Mortgages.
  • Student loans and other debt that are co-signed.

Do beneficiaries need to take action to receive a death benefit?

Beneficiaries don’t need to take action to obtain a death benefit for your policy, though it is prudent to ensure that the person is aware of the policy’s existence. This will go a long way towards resolving complications or delays by the insurer. A contract death certificate will be required by the insurer before the benefit gets dispersed.

Will my employer’s life insurance be sufficient?

Several employers provide their staff with life insurance, which is an aspect of an overall benefits package. Typically, the amount gets calculated based on your salary and has limits (generally 1 or 2 times the amount of your current salary). You will need to determine if this is sufficient protection to accommodate your needs based on your current financial situation.

Older adults and people who are not in great health will find life insurance to be more expensive. As such, life insurance offered by an employer is appreciated by those who can’t afford it otherwise.
